Every year on the first of July, St Hallet release the new vintage of its Legendary Old Block Shiraz and we are delighted to be able to join in this great event. Old Block is made from 100+ year vines from across the Barossa region. The plan is to show a vertical of Old Block Shiraz vintages as well as the new vintage. In the interest of balance, we will also be showing St Hallets stellar Riesling and its crowd-pleasing Blackwell Shiraz.
The star of the show will undoubtedly be the Old Block Shiraz. Old Block is the very soul of the Barossa - growers & winemakers working together to extract the very most from the ancient vines aged over 100 years old. The wine showcases the harmony to be found between Barossa’s two valley sub-regions. A supple, sexy and textural expression of Shiraz. So please join us for a 5-course Sunday lunch with incredible wines and a few surprises!
