Roger Jones

Consultant Chef to the Park House

We are delighted that Roger has agreed to become Consultant Chef to the Park House, nurturing and tutoring our team of chefs led by the immensely talented Jonathan Edwards, to attain the highest culinary standard possible and make the Park House Restaurant a foodie destination.

This partnership means that not only will the Park House team of chefs get the chance to work in Rogers famous Harrow kitchen but also Roger will be at the Park House regularly to help mentor and teach the team.

Roger’s experience working in both the wine industry and cooking side will help enhance, what is already one of the finest wine cellars in Wales. Roger who sits on The Decanter World Wine Awards for Australia is keen to bring more Australia sunshine to Wales and highlight the amazing high quality wines now coming out of Australia.

Roger Jones profile

Roger spent his early career working for The British Government and Royal Family and was the youngest Chef to run State Banquets at the tender age of 21, he also cooked for Mrs Thatcher at 10 Downing Street. Roger gained his first Michelin Star in 2006, which he has retained every year since.
